Steamed meat with salted egg rice

Ingredients:

2 salted eggs
100g minced pork belly
1 thsp egg white
2 bowls plain rice
1 stalk spring onion (chopped)
1 chilli (chopped)

Seasonings:

1 thsp light soy sauce
pinch of pepper
2 tsp potato starch
1/4 tsp sesame oil

Method:
  • Mince 1 salted egg yolk and mix well with minced pork belly. Blend in Seasonings, egg white and 1 tablespoon of water. Mix well and knead into 2 meat patties. Cut the other salted egg yolk into half and place each into the 2 meat patties.
  • Place meat patties on rice and steam over heat for 10 minutes.
  • Scatter chopped spring onion and chillies and then serve.
