Ingredients:
300g soya beans
3 litres water
1 tsp gypsum powder
20g corn flour
100ml water
Method:
- After washing the soya beans, soak it for at least 6 hours and pour the excess water away. After which, pour the soya beans into the blender and pour in 3 litres of water to blend.
- Pour the blended soya beans into the cloth bag and squeeze out soya milk.
- After removing the residue, boil the soya milk using a pot. After boiling, cook for another 5 mins to remove the "fishy" taste.
- Mix well and filter gysum powder, corn flour and water before pouring into the bottom of the insulated dispenser.
- Pour the boiled soya milk into the insulated dispenser and wail for 30 mins. By then it would have solidified into bean curd.
- Scrape off the top layer of residue and it is ready to be eaten with sugar syrup.

I love fried been curd. Every single time my husband treats me out to chinese I always have it with oyster sauce and shitake mushrooms.
Not only does it taste so good, it's also very nutritious!
