Spicy Plum Sauce

Ingredients:

1 (400g) can plums
⅓ cup vinegar
1 tbsp sugar
¼ tsp Chinese five-spice
2 tsp cornflour

Method:
  • Pit the plums and place with liquid in a food processor and process to a puree.
  • Transfer to a saucepan, add the remaining ingredients and simmer, stirring, until thickened.
