Steamed Durian Cake in Banana Leaves

Ingredients:

2 pieces banana leaves
50g sifted rice flour
220ml thick coconut milk
250g durian pulp
2 tsp margarine

Seasoning:

40g sugar
1/4 tsp salt

Method:
  1. Wash banana leaves and cut into squares.
  2. Combine rice, flour, thick coconut milk, durian plup, margarine and seasoning. Mix well and cook over low heat till thickened to a paste.
  3. Put 1 tablespoon durian paste on a banana leaf, roll up and secure both ends with toothpicks. Arrange rolls on steamer tray and steam for 20 minutes.
