Steamed Asparagus


1-1/2 lbs. fresh asparagus, tough ends trimmed
2 tsp. unsalted butter, melted


  1. Place asparagus in a steamer basket over boiling water.

  2. Cover saucepanand steam 4-5 mins until bright green and tender.

  3. Transfer asparagus toa serving dish.

  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste and drizzle withmelted butter.
