Pizza Waffles


8 ounce can tomato sauce
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
1/4 cup water
1/2 cup nonfat dry milk
1 1/4 cup water
2 cups biscuit baking mix
2 Tablespoons vegetable oil
1 egg
1 Tablespoon instant minced onion
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon dried oregano leaves

  1. Mix tomato sauce, Parmesan cheese, oregano and water in 1 quart saucepan.
  2. Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly, until cheese is melted and sauce is bubbly, about 5 minutes.
  3. Heat waffle iron. Mix dry milk and 1 1/4 cup water.
  4. Beat in rest of ingredients until smooth. Pour batter from cup onto center of hot waffle iron. Cook until steaming stops.
  5. Remove waffles carefully with fork. Top with sauce.
