Kaya












Kaya is a kind of spread like jam.




Ingredients:

10 eggs
380g sugar
450ml coconut milk
80ml pandan juice
few drops of green food coloring




Method for pandan juice:

  • Blend 4 pieces pandan leaves with water. Strain the mixture.


Method for kaya:






  1. Mix eggs and sugar dissolves. Add coconut milk, pandan juice and a few drops of green food coloring and stir till well blended. Strain mixture into small pot.


  2. Place small pot inside large pot. Pour 5 cup water into large pot, making sure that it does not overflow into small pot. Bring to a boil, stirring continuously till kaya becomes thick and sticky.

Its a kind of fragrant leaf that we used it for cooking.
